I am so fucking tired, but I have to stay for about 4-5 more hours...
I start my new schedule on Monday. I will be moving to 3rd Shift (overnight), and I am excited. This is a big step for me and I cannot wait to really start curing the ills of Windstream customers. But because I had been working 2pm-11pm the past two weeks, I have to start getting my body accustomed to the shift. So, I have to make sure that I stay up until 6-7am today, and then until about 8am the next day.
Last night I was up until about 5ish before I gave in. Thats fine, but I need to be up. Tough it out. It would be easier to do this in NYC, because there are things to do and places to go to. Greenville isn't really known for its 4am hangout spots ...except Wal-Mart and Waffle House, and part of me keeps thinking that just walking around a Wal-Mart at 4am is kind of sad (the other parts of me think that it is incredibly sad).
Hmm... Coffee should help... and maybe a good movie... or a captivating book... start the Great American Novel (even though the only thing I write is this blog. Fuck, maybe not). Need to keep the mind fresh and active.
I can do this. Get your second wind! Tough it out!
I am screwed.
